Ted completed the Canadian Securities Course in 1989, and earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada in 1996. He has consistently been awarded a place on the Assante Chairman's Council Elite, which is comprised of the top 25 Assante Advisors across Canada. Ted works with individuals and their families, small business owners, and farmers to help them with their financial planning and investment goals. Ted is also an advisor with Assante Estate and Insurance Services Inc. giving him the ability to offer insurance and risk management solutions where they make sense for clients.
Raised in Forest, Ontario, Ted is a farm boy at heart; this is where his hard work ethic stems from. He loves the great outdoors. From fishing and camping to golfing and biking, you can always find Ted on the go.
Tasha has been helping families achieve their financial goals since 1995. Tasha was a Financial Advisor with CIBC Investor Services Inc. for 15 years prior to joining the Huron Shores Financial Group in 2012. Tasha earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1994 from McMaster University and has since attained the Certified Financial Planner, Registered Retirement Consultant, Financial Management Advisor and Canadian Investment Manager designations. Tasha is also an Advisor with Assante Estate and Insurance Services Inc.
Tasha and her husband Damon relocated from Oakville to Sarnia in 2012. Tasha is actively involved with theSarnia Newcomers Club, an organization that welcomes women to the Sarnia-Lambton community, as well as the 'Couture for the Cure' charity group. She also keeps busy gardening, hiking,visiting her daughter in Toronto, and spending time online with her son who is now away in University.
Meet Justine! Certified Financial Planner. Justine earned an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario and began working at Assante Capital Management Ltd. soon after. She joined the Huron Shores Financial Group in 2017 and completed the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2018. She has a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals and shares a genuine interest in her client's future. Justine is also a licensed Advisor with Assante Estate and Insurance Services Inc., offering insurance and risk management solutions where appropriate.
Justine hits the gym daily to offset her love of food. When she's not in the office her hobbies include tennis, golf, and enjoying the beaches of Lake Huron.
Damon has been helping clients improve their financial well being since 1998. Prior to joining the Huron Shores Financial Group, Damon was an Investment Counsellor with United Financial (now Assante Private Client), a division of CI Private Counsel LP in their Private Client program. Like his wife Tasha, he graduated from McMaster University in 1994 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. Damon has since attained the Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Planner, Financial Management Advisor and Canadian Investment Manager designations. Damon is also an Advisor with Assante Estate and Insurance Services Inc.
In his spare time, Damon likes to cook.He has quite the reputation for his hand crafted pizzas cooked in the wood burning oven he constructed himself. Always looking for inspiration, he and Tasha love to try new restaurants when visiting their daughter Zoe in Toronto.
Karen is a Service Associate with the Huron Shores Financial Group. Karen joined the financial service industry over 20 years ago after completing the three year Business Administration Accounting program at Lambton College. Karen has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course and Professional Financial Planning Course. Karen's primary responsibilities include taking care of client's financial needs and ensuring they receive the best possible service while promptly responding to any inquiries.
Karen and her husband Kerry have two young boys who are heavily involved in sports. Karen claims the boys got their athleticism from Kerry but we've seen her axe throwing ability and beg to differ. When Karen isn't at the office you can find her at the arena or the ball diamond cheering on her kids.
