What is Homeopathy?

When these natural substances are administered to a healthy person, they produce symptoms similar to the condition for which they are being treated.  When a small, often infinitesimal, dose of a substance is administered to a person who exhibits symptoms of the illness, that substance can stimulate the body’s own healing abilities to effect a deep and long lasting cure.
 

Homeopathy is a system that treats disease by the use of natural substances.  

Homeopathy, according to Dr. Samuel Halnemann, is based of the law of simile similibus curantur, or ‘let likes be cured by likes’.

Homeopathic remedies are derived from the plant, mineral and animal kingdom and are used to treat a wide range of conditions including:

• Injuries
• Chronic diseases and emotional disorders

Remedies are carefully selected according to each individual case.  These remedies stimulate the body’s own defense system.  They act on the body’s own vital force to heal, in harmony, the body, mind and spirit without any toxic side effects.  All homeopathic remedies are highly diluted.

Kamal Wanner, Doctor of Natural Medicine.

History

In 1954 Kamal Wanner graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Bombay, in India. She worked in India, New York, England and Switzerland; before moving to Canada in 1967 to served in the Sarnia General Hospital from until 1980.

Kamal decided she wanted to move to natural methods of healing the body, wanting the best for her patients. In 1983 Kamal Graduated from the Canadian College of Natural Healing, Ottawa.

In 1983 she graduated from the Australian College of Naturopathic school for Colon Therapy, then after traveled to Austria in 1988 to learn Manual Lymph Drainage; a very rare procedure. Kammal returned to Canada and graduated from the Canadian College of Homeopathy in Ottawa, proceeding her duties within her own clinic in Sarnia.
