It all started in 1964 when Al Bedard recognized the need for a sewing machine and vacuum repair centre in Sarnia
Al’s son Rob, took over running the store when Al was ready to step down. Rob continued to run the store until 2020 when the new owner Greg Doherty took over. His plan is to continue to offer the quality products and service that Al’s Vacuum and Sewing Centre has been known for and add a few new products and services.

- Mettler sewing thread and Janome embroidery thread
- Sewing and quilting notions and accessories.
- In house sewing machine repairs, servicing and scissor sharpening

- Cordless stick vacuums by Miele, Numatic and Hoover
- Sebo canister and upright vacuums.
- Hoover carpet cleaners and carpet cleaning solutions.
- Bona floor cleaning products.
- In house warranty work and repairs of vacuums.
